from the eye or the surface of in-eye contact lenses.
VISMED® wash can also be used in case of ocular surface disorders, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis.

| VISMED® wash is available in a squeezable bottle containing 20 ml of solution. The outflow can easily be adjusted by applying pressure on the body of the container. | Depending on the level of ocular contamination, the total content of one bottle may be needed to flush away, for example, mild chemicals or foreign bodies whereas 5 drops per eye are often sufficient to remove cellular debris. |

How to use VISMED® wash:
Twist the screw cap on the multidose container firmly clockwise, before using VISMED® wash for the first time: a spike in the screw cap will pierce the tip of the dropper bottle. Unscrew the screw cap and position the tip of the container above the eye that is to be treated: upon applying slight pressure to the bottle, VISMED® wash will easily flow out from the container.
If not otherwise recommended, rinse the cornea and/or conjunctiva with VISMED® wash as often as needed: a few drops per eye are sufficient for removing debris whereas the total contents of one bottle may be needed for flushing away chemicals or foreign bodies. VISMED® wash may also be used while wearing contact lenses (rigid or soft) or scleral lenses.
The solution can be used for a maximum of three months after the bottle has been opened.
Precaution for use:
Do not touch the tip of the opened bottle and do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the container. Do not use VISMED® wash if the container is damaged. Store between 2 and 25°C! Do not use VISMED® wash after the expiry date indicated on the package. If the discomfort persists while using VISMED® wash or reappears after discontinuation of treatment, consult a physician. Keep out of the sight and reach of children!
