Q1: What is a "Synovial Joint" and "Synovial Fluid"?

Q2: How can I get Ostenil®?
A2: Ostenil® has to be administered by a clinician. This might be your GP, a Consultant, or a qualified Physiotherapist or Podiatrist. They will usually order it on your behalf. Alternatively, you can obtain a prescription and take this to your local pharmacy where it can be ordered for you. You will then have to take the syringes back to the clinician for injection into the affected joint.
Q3: Is Ostenil® available on the NHS?
A3: Yes, Ostenil® is reimbursable by the NHS.
Q4: Is Ostenil® suitable for vegetarians?
A4: Ostenil® does not contain any animal proteins, so it is fine to be used for vegetarians.
